PAINTING YOUR ROOM

CNY is round the corner, do you feel like giving your wall a fresh paint too?

I FEEL LIKE GIVING my wall new 'MAKE UP'

i change my Sunny yellow room to this colour.. *Purplish Pinkish*

it changes colour on day and night basis, when there's sunlight turns pink and during the night it looks purple~

I couldn't decide to get pink or purple but now i have both the colour i wanted

* I painted my room myself with my dad's help..

So i would like to share with you the basic needs when painting your wall..

And here are some of the basic equipment needed:

A tray, Roller for a faster and clean finish look, a brush to touch up the corners, and a cup to scoop the paint.

Once you get all the equipment ready, you're all ready start any time...

Here i go~ SCOOPING OF PAINT

*Glove needed to protect you from touching the paint

Picture showing when scooping the paint

*Remember to stir it before you scoop for your paint

*Last important thing, DO Lay Newspaper on the Floor along the piece of wall you gonna paint and you can use the news paper to cover your table too.

Steps to do before you scoop your paint:

Step 1 : stir your paint to even out the oil and colour

Step 2: Scoop it on your tray till half full..

Step 3: Place your Cup and Chopstick on a Piece of Paper.

* Paper is not that good as it will tear and stick onto the cup. Any plastic material will be much advisable.

Additional Tips:

- you can have a tiny art brush it may come in handy

and..

- A tiny pail of water with a small rag, for you to clean off any outline

When painting the tip of your wall connected to the ceilling needs some skill and technic, here's a short video to show you how to do it

the technic is some sort like tab it along the corner.. follow the video
